Hey guys!, most of you already know me and what im about on here. Anyways, moving on to what this thread is really about.

Recently, i decided to pick up the xbox 360 version of this game. I knew the campaign was going to be more or less the same compared to the ps3 (I.E dumb A.I, experience crushing bugs, and so on) So, the first thing i did was try out the multiplayer and the only words I have to say are "Oh My LAWD gezusss this game was made with AWESOME SAuce!!")(on the 360 of course) The game runs so smooth online that it makes me wonder "What the fucccccck!!!!!!!!!!! happened to the ps3 version?" Sure, the game lags here and there for me. Nothing like it did on the ps3 though. And the frame rate is a better as well. As apposed to the ps3: Low framerate + Slight Lag= RAGE!!!!!!!!!!

Many of you that bought Crysis 2 on the PS3 may wonder, what the hell is the OP's purpose for this post? Well, my purpose is to inform those that had and still have the option to get this game for the 360 to do it, Rent it at least; give it a shot. As gamers we look for the best possible experience. With Xbox 360 having the superior port, i'd say thats the console to go for with this game, that is unless you have a gaming PC. If so, get Crysis 2 on that.

Just how awesome is the 360 version?

Its this awesome-----> Image

How about the Ps3 version?

Its this awesome----->Image

I was going to trade in my ps3 version towards the 360 version but my younger brother wouldnt let me. So, i dished out more money to get the same game(i should have done my research so its my fault) Also, i got one of the few limited editions left brand new. I want to support crytek for this game, if i would had gotten it used, they would not have seen a single penny so yea. I will get on the ps3 every now and then to play with my friends on there also.

I know some of you guys like to follow my post(maybe 1 of you lol) If so, im going to be over on the 360 forum now. I will check out the ps3 forum every now and then.

Peace!

I bought it for both PS3 (Nano Edition) and Xbox 360 (Limited Edition) and wish I'd bought it for neither!

This game is so close to being awesome on both consoles, but the ridiculous number of bugs has ruined the whole experience for me. Games companies seem to think it's acceptable to release games in this state, and then fix them with updates. But this game has so many problems, I don't believe it can be fixed.

As for which version is better, it's very very close, but I'd have to give the PS3 version the nod.
Xbox 360 has slightly higher resolution, but it's barely noticeable (I did notice though).
The 360 also has a slightly higher frame rate. It does seem a tiny bit smoother to me.
It also has the infamous grain bug (which I haven't encountered yet) that isn't on the PS3.
Online, I have found the 360 version to be totally unplayable at times.
PS3 version seems to be a tiny bit more responsive.
Lag is usually bad on both versions, but I have had the occasional good online game on both.

At the moment, I prefer the PS3 version, but as I have just played Homefront online for the first time, I am unlikely to return to this bug-ridden near-masterpiece.

Fair enough. However, homefront is to slow for me. I dint get brink because it look like it played the same way for the most part. I hate the overexaggerated gun sway and on top of that it feels like your guy weighs a ton when you are running.(only game i like with the heavy feel is Killzone 2, not to say i dont get frustrated at the game)
