Crysis 3 mp will not update. it is the same issue that i had in the beta. anyone here having the same problem? i'm using f-secure as a antivirus. (might be the sinner)

If you're talking about the data patch, please re-read the post. this update happens in the background, you will not receive any update notification within the game or from origin, simply exit multiplayer the go back in, and voila, you have the data patch.

I know it is supposed to be behind the scenes. The update if successful tho would show up as a icon in the bottom left corner and it wont. I have tried everything. I have waited for 1hr in the menu, i have tried to restart the game, i have tried switching back a fourth from the single-player to multiplayer, change to my phones internet(to check if any ports is blocked) and disabling my firewall 100%... no of them have worked... I also in the beta tried to reinstall it all.

Update: I seem to be able to connect to servers that has not yet been updated, usually there are no players there tho. I manage to find a game with 2 other player that said to have the same problem. The have also reported this.

Do you have a friend to play with? Get on a server with them or any server and see how many melees it takes to kill them. How many did it take when they are in full armor?

Well the problem is that i cant join my friend. His game updated as it should so he sees different servers than i do.

Try sitting in the Multiplayer menu for a minute or two before backing out into SP and back into MP.

it still will not update...

Could anybody who is having problems getting the patch try to access this test file in a web browser on the PC in question

It's contents should display as

"Crysis 3 - Multiplayer Patch Test File"

If they are unable to see this file in their browser then it shows that their PC cannot access the server for some reason. Hopefully this file would then be an easier thing for them to test against whilst they are trying to debug any problems with their network connection.

If they can see the file in their browser then it should prove that their PC as a whole isn't restricted access to that server by proxies or routers in between the two.

However if they are still unable to get their Multiplayer updated, then it would suggest that something is different between their browser and their copy of Crysis 3, ie. perhaps a software firewall is blocking some traffic for Crysis 3?
