[Problem] Crysis 3 on Windows 8

Post » Thu Jun 13, 2013 11:06 pm

Please try setting the compatibility mode to Windows 7 or Windows XP. If you are unsure how to do this, please post back.

Also, if you can send a copy of your game.log file, that will give us some more info as to where the problem is. (game.log is located in the root directory your Crysis 3 installation. You can use the "attach file" feature here, or PM me for instructions)

Thanks!

I couldn't tell which actual gigabyte motherboard your running but I'm an admin and Microsoft MVP on a windows 8 and 7 support forum. One thing with Windows 8 is that you'll find it runs at it's best (as well as running third party apps too) by running the latest bios and driver versions.

We've already tried running it in compatibility mode and also running as an administrator. But still, it always end up in a not-responding state or black screen. :(

Thank you for trying to help, sir. We really appreciate it.

Ummm... He already has latest and bios versions. He just updated it yesterday I guess...

Thanks for the help. :)

Hey Lacie24, did you just said that when you were running windows 8 you got stuck at BLACK SCREEN in NO-RESPONDING state? And said that you solved it by installing Windows 7 and you no more get Black screen? Well, if this is it then I will try because I've tried almost on every site for searching a solution but no one responded me in solution.
Thanks. For getting me a solution, I will try. Thanks again. <3
