Started a new game, reached the bit where me and Psycho crashed the traincart, and as soon as it tries to load the next mission the game crashes.

I restarted it, got to the main menu and the Resume Game button refuses to work. Pressed it 100 times, nothing. Origin claims my installation is complete and no corrupt files are present.

This happened AFTER C3 refused to even start due to some stupid Xinput.dll missing or something.
Reinstalled my already-upgraded graphics driver, installed the obsolete DX runtime thing from 2010, and managed to start the game upto the above mentioned point.

And to top it off I had to create a new account here because the stupid forum won't properly update my new password for my old account. Good times..........

Here have been problems occurring willy nilly everywhere lately.
Your progress was probably deleted if the resume game button doesn't work. First go to 'campaign' --> 'missions'. Then see if you can restart the mission you were last on. If not you will have to start all the missions.

This game is going from bad to worse, 4 updates later and this bug from release day still remains. makes you wonder how many hours a day the devs sit on their thumbs.

now the game is crashing at the same point every time. steaming pile of turds.

Yeah this entire game has gone to sh*t.
