Crytek abandoned this game the same way Sony Ericsson...

In 2009 December i bought the Sony Ericsson Satio also know as Idou/U1/U1i.

The phone was plagued with bugs in its initial firmware AND had horrible screen tearing but it was at least hackable.

A few months later with no support of the phone we users who paid 600 usd for the crappy phone finally got an update..which locked us out and we were unable to hack the phone anymore.

A few tricks came up...in any case sony Ericsson said there will be no more updates for the phone. The community was pissed off. You don't know the rage we had.

Its absolutely the SAME thing that happened with Crysis 2.

In any case, i have pledged never to buy a Sony Ericsson phone or any product of theirs ever.

EDIT:
Basically this is a small bit of what sony did to us...600 usd and i was even on a contract for 2 YEARS...even today i have this crappy phone which was blown away by the omnia hd2 back then with cooked roms and whatnot...
We got a phone with NO features, NO support and TONS of bugs.

Hah, yeah - I bought a Satio and Crysis 2 as wel. The Satio could have been a great phone apart from a few remaining bugs, just like Crysis 2.l

Crytek fixed many things, but stopped patching for an unknown reason!

Crytek were never known well for having good post-release support of their games, it was same story with Crysis and Far Cry

I had a similar problem with a samsung, the pixon 12. The phone never worked very properly. It just makes good pictures.
Had problems with sonyericsson but less than with the samsung.

So I now definitely spend money on iphone.
I avoid samsung monitors, cos if they might maybe be good by the screen the build is crap, they just make products to literally throw on the market.
If they cud do 1 good phone (instead of 30 par year), and one good monitor, they would get my money sometimes.

Think that samsung sells an eyefinity combo monitor setup, with 3 monitors, well in the tests I read that these monitors are not suited for gaming due to a high input lag. In this case you see the image with 2-5 frames of retard that what actually happens on your pc.
So these monitors are not suited for action games.

About crysis I would like to have longer online matches. One single match goes on for 7 minutes and then it finishes. IS THIS A JOKE??

I remember playing unreal turnament and having much longer matches :-D

Then I would like to have a gun that can be used as a sword, or simply a sword as second weapon, to use in close and middleclose combat. That would be very fun!

Above these things I think it's a great game.
On pc the most I really miss is some good combat flight simulator game, and I am wayting for the nev wing commander!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But also in other areas it's exactly the same. I have a top gun afterburner joistick, the mapper that worked for windows xp doesn't work anymore with windows 7. -> won't buy thrustmasters product If I'm not oblidged.

Microsoft did this for their whole existance, whith windows vista and windows 7 they removed a very basical function, and almost nobody has noticed it.
You won't be able to see, in the windows explorer, the column of the folder dimension. So you don't know where the space on your harddrive is used. Whith win xp you cud be able to use a little program called "folder view". This added to the normal dimension column, the dimension of folders. This program made win xp genial.
Then whith windows 7 there is a file called win sxs, mine is of 10 gb in this moment. The goal of this folder is keeping the older versions of your files saved, just in case something goes wrong. I have a ssd of 180 gb which is full now. Thanks microsoft.

But also windows media player doesn't work as before. i don't manage to get the interface in the middle, and the playlist displayed on the right side, and then save it to stay in this way (I used WMP for 10 years about and want it to behave like this).
Using microsoft products, I have the impression that my monitor has become bigger (I have a 27"), but the part of the screen I can use in explorer, and other microsoft programs is getting smaller due to unremovable menubars &co. For example, see the picture viewer of microsoft. It is stealing precious space on you monitor, to have an unuseful new unremovable menu. THANKS microsoft!

The solution these firm will provide will be a new more nice looking product whith other kind of issues...

ps if you wanna try a nice program, to see pictures... try google chrome, then the add on named "cooliris".
It's awesome!
