Not really sure where they are coming with this. It's not like Warface was critically acclaimed or anything, everyone is saying it is mediocre at best.

If they want to do something good with F2P, they can start by making Crysis Wars free to the public, and charge for extra weapons/nanosuit skins/etc.

****, I don't want to have to pay money so I'm not hugely disadvantaged against the people who already have, it's a good way for a company to make money but totally unfair for the people who just want to play the game.

And to be honest where does crytek go after crysis if they want to create a new shooter ip? (ok maybe not shooter but they seem based around that) crysis is unique and separates itself entirely from others and mostly everything else for a shooter has been released in terms of retail

There is just something really HORRID about selling weapons and rank to players with money. Doesn't anyone see ANYTHING wrong with that? Have we become that bad? My skin crawled when I saw they were letting players get better weapons and level V rank if they payed more for the game than others. What kind of fair gaming is that? More like a CHEAT for rich losers.
