You cant do a DX11 benchmark on a game that was built using DX9. The DX11 "patch" does not make the game DX11.

Like others have said it is annoying that it was promised to be DX11 for so long and then came out as DX9, though its pointless moaning about it now as it will always be a DX9 game, patch or no patch.

Lol at the DX11 whores. Guess what even if DX11 added some extra lightning effects, it still would not improve the core game. I agree completely with Azminday, Crysis looks and plays damn near "perfect", and I have DX11 gear, but DX11 means nothing to me if it will melt my system and give me zero gameplay. I just want powerful hardware to play as many games as possible without performance hit, if it is DX9 or Dx11 doesn't bother me the slightest.

I imagine a lot of people pushing for the "DX11 patch" are running multi GPU systems and are presuming the current flickering issues associated with a multi GPU system whilst playing Crysis 2 get fixed in the same patch.

guys, what the point of DX11? crysis 2 have serious bugs, SP and MP. so if you can run this game on maximum graphics you still have bugs...
connections fails. rank reset etc... if crytec release DX11 you continue cry for bugs and continue to post here for something else. no point for me...

They didn't "add" DX11. They already had that in the game. Probably it was just a marketing trick.

Said german website is one of the most unreliable sources you can imagine, they're well known for spreading unconfirmed facts. DX11 and advanced graphics settings coming today/soon ? I wouldn't bet on it though if crytek really does it i would be amazed and very happy.
