Plz people don't scream about MP problems as I understand that. Just wanna hear - When Crytek is going to bring us DX 11 with wider graphics options without running 3rd party programs to open the graphics?

well it would be today. the sites said crysis will be getting the patch tomorrow, and the posts were done on the 27th. now its the 28th so it should be here today if they are correct.

I don't think today, to be honest. Otherwise there would have been an official announcement on this forum. Right? Unless they want to surprise us.

For those thinking that the DX11 patch is going to make things all amazing, think again. The patch will be good to have the extra graphic settings though in terms of DX11... The engine is based on DX9, you cant just "patch" it to DX11 and anyone who thinks otherwise is going to be upset lol.

My point is there is a concensus of opinionS (plural) among critics that graphics make a game better thats why they contribute to the overall score. And actually if "better" graphics don't make the game worse in anybody else's opinion they do make it better (thats a fact) because in some peoples opinion IE mine it makes it better.

Further games are judged on opinions there is no other way to judge them and gameplay is even more subjective than graphics.

Besides if you really thought that why even buy Crysis 2. Whats wrong with Pac Man or similar classic games they have awesome game play.

Very true. It's already a worse game than Crysis 1.

lol I'd rather they worry about fixing the serious bugs in this game first. They are doing far more damage to this game than some graphical changes which will come because of DX11.

Then again, I don't expect common sense to prevail. That's why only the PC version got 8v8 quickly thrown in a game which was intended for 6v6 (to appease whiners comparing the amount to Crysis 1).

You're missing the point as far as I'm concerned. The point is that crytek promised DX11 for over a year and now the game is here and it's DX11 is like a ghost. Why do people act like companies should be able to say whatever they want and then when they don't deliver we're all supposed to clap and say "What a great job!" it's like if someone promised you a Bughatti Veyron in a year from now. You wait, you get excited then your year is up. Your car gets delivered and they drop off a Lamborghini. Great! But it's not what you were promised. So you ask the delivery guys if there was a mix up and their answer to you is a blank stare and they say nothing but have fun with it. Do you get it?! We were promised something and it was not delivered. Simple. Borderline false advertising.

This is all just speculation. Only one website has reported this and now that article is being referenced all over the web. The mods here are deleting all threads which make any mention of it so IMO it's a fake story - hope I'm wrong.

I've nearly finished it and IMO THERE ARE NO SERIOUS BUGS IN THE GAME. There are the same issues with servers as with the demo but thats not something Crytek can fix themselves I don't think.

There are plenty of bugs, check out all the people posting about them, if anything, you're just very lucky not to have had to handle any of these bugs.

I am starting to think the mods don't know either. It was said to be 11am though so if thats German time it's either not true or something changed.
