try your connection lags is better for most if not everyone now ive had no lag for weeks
I'm running 30 Meg Broadband (Fibre Optic) and my connection is wired.
I have no problems whatsoever with any other FPS (Homefront had initial problems, but they PATCHED it and it's fine), Killzone 3, Homefront, Halo Reach, Battlefield Bad Company 2 - All fine. Only Crysis 2 performs pathetically.
And to answer the other question, I'd like to know from any member of Crytek the latest on the patch details which of course should address the Lag and Hit Detection problems.
Again, Crytek, please end this shambolic customer service and give us some information.
If you're with Virgin Fibre Optic then I'm afraid they're notoriously bad for online gaming. With gaming it's not about the speed, it more about quality. ie. ping times/jitter/packet loss. Virgin Fibre Optic often doesn't fair well with those tests. I pay more for my broadband as it's tailored specifically for gamers. It's nowhere near as fast as Fibre Optic but the line quality is much better.
Any issues in Crysis will only be amplified by poor ISPs. Though regardless of your ISP, Crysis 2 is still completely messed up.
I'm sure that 30 Meg Fibre Optic (Wired) should be more than enough to run Crysis 2.
But as you admit, Crysis 2 is messed up regardless of ISP.
This is why Crytek need to address this with a patch but their shockingly bad customer service (ie communication) is abysmal and worrying.
