"I have no doubt it's often perceived that way but quite often technical issues cannot be resolved with a simple reply to a thread. Investigations need to be undertaken into reproducing issues, formulating a fix, testing that the fix doesn't break other things, scheduling in the fix with a patch and then waiting for the patch to go live. This is no doubt a long and tedious process when many gamers just want to jump on and play without this issue but it's the process that just has to happen. If we can offer a solution to a problem with a post then of course we will take that opportunity.
For the majority of issues we have at least commented on them or stated that it's being investigated. The issue is that when there are 20 different threads on the one topic, our comments are lost and people feel as though we're ignoring issues which is simply not the case. This is why we've been so persistent in asking people to search before posting and to use existing topics so that others who come to ask about the issue can see that Crytek have seen it and are working on fixing it. Until that issue is fixed, there's little for us to say about it and as we discovered, repeating "we're still working on it" grows thin on people's patience so we simply announce once that yes, we are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it; next step from there is to announce that it's fixed."
