Problem: Everyone wants a beta! It would be expensive to organise and those who haven't received the beta will be very, very angry.
Solution: Make the beta available to everyone BUT pump it full of ads. Like, ads everywhere. So, you fire your gun and it plays an ad as a sound. You also need to secure McDonald's or something., with Ronald McDonald yelling deals into your ear. Furthermore, all the aliens are tellitubbies where the TV screens show ads.

Why would people who not receive the beta be "very, very angry"? They might be upset for a day or two, but not to the point where they turn green and smash stuff. If you're not able to participate in the beta, you'll shrug it off.
