Crytek Devs, read this and respond and I'll buy your DLC.

Serious, it aint much in your beer drinking money I know.
But if one of you actually responds, an actual official "dev" not some map maker twat on FB or Twitter, I will go and buy your DLC right now and get all my friends to start playing again.

I just want an offical ETA, E being for "estimated" time of arrival for an xbox patch and not one of those crappy 4mb jokes either.

Some feedbackfroma coder in the know, NOT a FORUM MOD saying for 2 months "Crytek are listening"
but someone who is a real Crytek staff member.

Come talk to us, NO SH1T!!!! I WILL BUY YOUR DLC RIGHT NOW DESPITE MY PROTESTS IF YOU COME TALK TO US!!!!!

No offence but we're a tad tired of Adam and Tom. We want REAL info, REAL communication, like we get with the other games we own.

So right here and now, or in the next few hours lol. 800 points if you answer, even just a friggin' simple hello gamers.
More points if you reply cos like I said I'll convince my mates to play again and buy your DLC also.

C'mon, do you have the strength to take the $10-$1000 challenge from a fan/gamer Crytek????

Dude no offence but its not the size of the patch that matters, its the fixes it contains. 4mb is actually plenty of space to change a huge number of things in the game code. The reason most patches on PC are way larger is they usually involve just replacing a file completely rather than fix it, and in PC games that includes texture files which can be huge (by comparison) when uncompressed.

Well considering most xbox games even though they can be installed to the HDD are designed to run off disc, and the problems I have encountered are more serious than any PC game I've personally encountered.

And well some PC games I've played even back in the late 90's to early 2000's had bigger patches, and they weren't even to cover graphical compatibly like PC games had back then and now.

I mean this is xbox, we've all got the basic same hardware and software. So if the games so broken, then it obviously needs a large patch as the last 2 "4mb" jobs did sweet phuck all. Cos it's not like we need a fix for some people because it won't run with their voodoo 2 3D card.

It goes beyond network coding considering the AI and model issues along with weapon malfunctions and audio, achievments, unlocks, abilities etc. than a 4-5mb patch could ever fix.

Seriously dude, I knowz my gaming and coding sh1t enough to know 4 mb is a joke, especially considering the PC patches didn't even really touch on compatibility but game stability issues. and the last one was like 50mb?

Some truth in this, they've applied two 4mb patches and they've done nothing. They could have been placebo's for all we know.

Another 4mb I predict will not do much if the past is a reliable indicator of what is to come. Let us hope me and Doomed are wrong.

We have commented several times on the small file sizes with the 360 patches:
Apparently the patches for 360 are compressed heavily which accounts for the large difference in file size and the difference in release date was because the 360 patch was simply made available sooner than the PS3 one and the PC after that, specific details i don't know :) http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=238314#p238314

All platforms have had their patches applied, the difference in file size (3mb vs 40mb) are to do with compression as i previously mentioned. This information has been double-confirmed as correct. There is no more information i can add on this than i already have. As i suggested, if you're still having issues whether it's listed as fixed on the patch or not at all, please raise these issues in existing threads. http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=243008#p243008

Whether you choose to believe the information we give you in response to questions asked, or view it as some sort of conspiracy is your prerogative, however, this is the official answer that i have triple checked with the team who compile the patches. This is typical behaviour on the PS3/360, if you'd care to do some research before going off on a tangent:

Regarding your other point:
The update is not too far away and once we have a definite date set for release we'll be sure to let you know here! For the console players, if you're reading this, your patch notes are coming shortly and will be put up as soon as they are ready.
