Crytek, give us PRONE & LEAN both in SP & MP with patch!

Its so freaking annoying that game removed PRONE and replaced lean with some semi-working cover system.

About prone:

It allows player to be less visible, it makes player a harder target, it allows to use stealth mode longer than crouching, it was one of the most used tactical tricks in Crysis 1 (by those players who played tactical way) and it should be in Crysis 2! Even COD have prone! Why Crytek removed prone and all the tactics related to use of it?? Return it ! If you think that you dont have enough of buttons on gamepad, just assign prone to same button as crouch, but turn on chouch with quick tap, and prone with hold - simple isnt it?
It must be not only on PC, but also on consoles as well!
Please bring prone with patch, you probably have it remains from Crysis and only need to enable it in C2!

About lean:

Well it was replaced by autolean-cover system ripped from CALL OF JUAREZ 2, its was really genius implementation of lean designed by Techland, which worked like sharm both with mouse and gamepads, but Crytek screwed it.
In COJ this system works with every surfaces, you can move near any wall, stone, horse or anything and this system works fine and its works independent from current stance - if object is low, you will autocrouch, if it is high you will stand, but you can still crouch and stan back without interrupting your aiming from cover.
But in Crysis 2 you never could guess when cover will work, when not - all covers stance Dependant, and some works when you crouch, others only when you stand, and you can not crouch behind those covers, that allows only to stand, well you can crouch actually, but only when you quit from aim-from-cover mode, and when you will crouch you cant aim from cover and lean - so isnt works that find as it worked in Call of Juarez.
Also many obvious objects, wall and corners that by any logic should work like cover, simply dont allow you to lean and aim with this cover system, so it seams this cover system is not universal like it was in COJ and you can really cover only behind some objects that was "Marked" as "cover" and only in pre-defined stance, so its not really good and make entire system almost useless.
1st this should be patched to allow to use any object and surface as cover, and allow to change stance and use cover without changing stance 1st.
2nd this system absolutely not implemented in multiplayer, so you cant lean and use covers at all, and this makes game less comfortable.
Both problems should be fixed with patch.

Together LEAN & PRONE in SP and MP opens wider tactical horizons and makes gameplay richer, its shame that Crytek game designers did not understand that before release and removed must have features like prone, and didnt properly implemented lean-cover system.

Another companies like Monolith and IW failed with same mistake, because their games was "not balanced for lean"... well at least one game was still "balanced for prone"))
Please Crytek, fix you mistake, take a look at developers like Valve and CD project REd, who brought completely new gameplay features to their games like The Witcher and Team Fortress 2 with patches.
So if you did mistake in game design, dont be such stubborn like IW with their Modern Warfail 2, and simply add what you removed, what was in Crysis 1, and redesign some features like LEAN to work proper way and to work in MP.

Anyone agree?

ahahaha i hope so much EA doesnt **** it up with console port and BC2 was **** they must make it like BF2 and forget the consoles

i can understand why they removed prone ( to reduce camping ) but it isnt really working duo to overspammed Cloak and "infinite suit energy" cheat or whatever its called. and the reason there is no lean.. well yea *cough**cough* console port *cough*

one thing i love about prone in Crysis and Warhead is that when you 'equip' your fists and crawl, you can see the Nanosuit arms pulling Nomad/Psycho along the ground. that's the kind of attention to detail that Crysis 2 shat out the window.

Chances are that they were too lazy to even open the window, so they just shat on the window instead.

I totally agree, it made the games so much more immersive. Also, even if C2 is more fast pace there has to me moments where it could come in handy and at least be a fun option.

BF3 is being published by EA.

Judging by EA's track record this year, BF3 will likely also be a port.
