I'd like to know how you all decide the different weapon balance changes.
It makes me curious because honestly, how can you decide weapon balance changes even though there are numerous cheaters in the community?
If it's from the console version of the game, I still wonder what is the logic behind it and applying to to all platforms.
I noticed the K-Volt is getting a buff. I just got done with a match where everybody was being masscred by a dude with the K-Volt. I dont get it. (after that experience at least)
I recently earned another unlock and was able to unlock the shotgun and customize it finally. I'm starting to like the shotgun but apparently it's going to get nerfed down a bit. by how much?

My overall question is though, how do you all decide weapon changes? (I'm seeking a direct response from Crytek staff)

All balance changes are based on tonnes of telemetry data that is monitored, collated and then examined to see what weapons are used the most and what weapons are used the least. We want players to experience the whole range of weapons that Crysis 2 has to offer and what we don't want is one or two particular weapons that are OP and abused by everyone creating boring, mono-tone gameplay.

Naturally, you can't please everyone and someone may find that one particular buff or nerf may be contrary to what they've been experiencing but as mentioned, this information is based off a lot of data that is collected so they are changes for the greater good

kvolt got a buff but it takes skill to use, and that guy you mentioned is actually good with it.
