ironman2020, go play your BF3 betas, you don't even own Crysis 2, you dont even own a gaming PC, even if you did, you'd have a total of 3 kills and 8000 deaths.

Yea, his messages are usually abusive / trolling, but we'd all rather Crytek to help make them actually unjustified...

the hit detection is so "laggy" to allow players with high pings play like they have not so high one.

^You know what's kinda surprising and endlessly frustrating. Going from the amazingly accurate and responsive hit detection of the predecessors to what it's like in C2. Can't have been anything to do with the console focus lol

And yes, I have thought it probably attributed to ping catering / console systems, but in regards to ping, I'd much rather they put responsiveness first. Because by the same token it's still not a great thing having high pingers everywhere (high pings can't be made and are nowhere near perfect like this) but with more excuse for them not to learn what ping is and stick to good servers lol. It's lose lose over a properly responsive game imo.

Oh can't Unreal Engine games have client side hit detection at least? Because I'm sick of opening up UT or Red Orchestra and finding no Aus servers which means I can't play >:(

Yea, that's the only problem. Not a problem if games gather a high player base in their time though lol... and remember those games wouldn't play the same if they had done it this way too, it's such a compromise.
