well mabey(maybe) every tom dike and harry didnt open there(their) mouth cause they hate snipers and try to keep us in the dark i wouldnt be that way and i multi posted to try to get there(their) attention whats pissing me off is i clearly stated OHK if armor is off and ppl still think it should be just there(their) way cause there(they're) scared of some competion

Quick scoping was just a coding error that was introduced in mw,mw2 and so forth. it was used and abused, it was never meant to be an actual mechanic of the game and it was never addressed properly with the developers of the franchise. now because it was introduced in the afore mentioned and exploited the way it was. those who did use it, expect it to become industry standard and that's just not the case. now to curb it, some developers are making snipers 2 to 3 hit to drop someone to make game play balanced. cause and effect, some might not like it but that is the fruit it has birthed.

Don't get me wrong I fookin hate snipers. Picking me off in the middle of a red hot firefire (BLAM) dead = Tw@t. I don't have the patience myself and really I should applaud anyone who does snipe well, especially in this game with the speed and cloaking.

I agree that if that is the case then the system is flawed. No armor should be 1 shot kill for the Gauss. Look a the balance and what... it's like level 39 innit Jesus! When killed you get a good look at the Kill cam and can go hunt the **** down.

Therefore (IMO) it should be buffed.. Not saying by giving a lot off damage, but maybe something about the sway, reload time, zoom time/effect or the like..

cry tom and the rest of crytek have alot more to worry about in the upcoming patch than the stupid sniper

TBH theres alot more that needs to be patched first but i understand what your getting at. I dont know how anyone can call snipers campers, because a sniper is someone who will kill you from afar be it a fixed postion or a shot then move kind,my idea of a camper is a player who is at the same location the whole game, even after being killed the said player will go back to the same place. sniping is hard on this because its so up tempo, ive only used the sniper rifle twice, its not for me on crysis2.

I dont understand why people hate snipers. If its in the game deal with it. Snipers are the only class i say that are allowed to camp in my opinion, but people still bich. When you dont camp with a sniper rifle[quik scoping] people still bich.

To go back to the Gauss, I believe it should be a OHK because you cant put a suppressor on it plus i think that gun was suppose to really do it. I was excited to unlock it but at this moment DSG-1 with suppressor is so much more reliable. If you notice after firing the first bullet with the Gauss you have to wait for the gun to "refresh" before getting an accurate shot. The crosshairs kinda blink for 2 seconds, if youve used it you can understand what im saying. So i do think the gun was really meant to be a OHK!

Personally, i love sniping, i just don't think it fits in this game. Even Unreal Tournament made me feel more like sniping than C2.

I don't like campers but I also don't like people who complain. People use sinpers because they want to, if you don't like it play Black Ops, otherwise stop winging about it and play the damn game.

You can play a game however you want just like you can live your life however you want. It just tells other people who you are. Snipers are lazy selfish cowards who think having a high K/D actually matters. They don't want to play a fair game where the other player actually has a chance to fight back. They don't help their team in objective games. They just hide somewhere and hope somebody will wander into their field of view. It's cheap, but hey! That's just who you are. You're a sniper.

Im what you could call a tactical sniper.. Not that dude most of you are refering to that sits in a corner and camps out the entire game. Noticed even now that you can sort of quick scope in this game.. So that works to my advantage.. But if this is true that the next sniper in the list aint working better than what im using now i suggest they fix it. Because following my team mates and giving covering fire in my favorite game modes actually requires that my gun handles and works as it supposed to. Sure you can adapt.. But theres no reason to change weapon when it comes to my play style since well..

The fire rate on that gun seems to be a "bolt action" gameplay sniper.. And not getting a kill on chest and up would be gamebreaking for a support sniper like me. Been playing sniper in most fps's since the birth of fps games. And as it feels in this game its almost that im forced to sit in a corner due to the frame drops on cloak+scope and sometimes just scope. But im trying to fight it. Im running with my team and covering as much as i can.. But.. Still, hope theres a fix coming for the gun since im closing in to that level. And its becoming harder and harder to keep a steady score with my gamestyle in this game.. Mostly due to the issues i have taken up in this post.

If those issues would be fixed it feels like this game could possible have the best sniper gameplay out there. Tho some tweaks are needed tbh.
But as it stands with the issues Im not suprised over that theres "campers" out there.. Lets just hope for a fix that sorts out the damage your talking about and the fps issues so that we can get "smarter" snipers and a better sniper experiance/gameplay experiance.. Because i think a lot of ppl playing sniper in this game are limited. Ofc you allways have your "new bloods" when it comes to fps's that dont know better.. ^^,
Guess that could be one of the issues to when it comes to a lot of complaints in this thread.
