He talked metaphorically, so no.
Most bugs usually take a month or two to fix up. Crytek seems to be achieving that in weeks and in the day 1 patch. ONE THING TO NOTE THOUGH, is the leak literally emotionally distressed Crytek. Nathan Camarillo talking about bugs getting fixed that fast was a rather nervous and rapid statement because he didn't want people to think that Crysis 2 was the crap it was during the leak. It's still unfinished due to EA not giving as much time as Crytek needed but the amount of bugs from the leak verison, at least from what I heard, have been immensly fixed.
Well, yes, Camarillo was speaking metaphorically, and for sure out of frustration. However, many users were aware that they were downloading a beta, so a full-of-bugs version of the game. Since he was so worried about users being discontent prior the game release, I wonder why he hasn't made (yet) a similar statement about the actual irritation and frustration that so many have manifested through this forum. In so doing, he made himself target of, at least, sarcastic comments such as my own. I am among those players who, no matter the various, obvious bugs that currently plague the game, and not to mention the vapid AI, are still enjoying the game. I still like Crysis 2 in spite of the fact that I am one of the victims of the dual GPU flickering. This problem, which is most likely the result of EA hurrying Crytek for releasing the game ASAP, can be very annoying. The truth is that many think that dual GPU owners cry because they can't run the game at 200fps, while in the real world, most need dual GPU support to run the game at a just enjoyable frame rate. This is my case. Actually, disabling one of the cards, or using profiles and other "fixes" drastically reduces the overall performance, making the gaming experience a stuttering and unpleasant one. As you sure know, CF configurations suffer of a terrible micro-stuttering in game around 30/40fps. I still feel optimistic though, and I like to think that sooner than later gamers are going to see some updates or patches that will improve Crysis 2 gaming experience. Nevertheless, if the ranting that I see about this forum is void of sense and redundant, the frustration that many have made public with civility is more than legit, and so is making fun, in a sarcastic fashion of Camarillo's "famous last words."
