Warhead maybe, but I dont see Wars being ported. It's bigger and better than Crysis 2's multiplayer. It has to be embarrassing enough as it is that their original title is going to smash the sequel even on consoles.

I think crysis wars would be boss on console. PC gamers are cool yet they complain too much.

My rationale would be that:
- if they can port crysis, they can port wars (i don't care about the graphics, just the gameplay)
- if they can earn more revenue from a game they have already made (with some extra work gone into porting) that has to make up for the embarrassment
- with only three modes IA, TIA and PS, it would be much easier to get a game than C2's fragmented playlist

I would also love bots, to make up for lack of players on my side of the planet

it would be so awesome!!!! i would pay much for that

Perhaps, although I'd be very interested to see if they could actually port maps big enough for powerstruggle and somehow manage to keep the playercounts up.

If they do port it it'll be the nail in the proverbial coffin for Yerli's dignity. He's as good as admitted that C2 was a failure.

guys if you want Wars/Warhead you must show Crytek that Console playyers want Crysis 1 not C2

I'm getting C1 for 360 to show my support...
if a lot of people get c1 they may think about or they could be doing it right now lol

A problem could arise in the same way as it has done for BF3. The maps will be large and many non-scripted enemies will be moving around, as well as explosions and vehicles. That sort of thing would be pretty taxing on a console.

However, BC2 seemed to manage just fine, so there's always the possibility I suppose.. Although without a doubt not enough people on console would play powerstruggle to make it worthwhile. Those games could go on for hours.

well they could scale down the maps just a little decrease the number of players and add a regular 10 minute deathmatch

But seeing as the console version is getting C2 controls, that'd be little different to Crysis 2 multiplayer, except that you mightn't get perks.

What they should do instead is simply create a game mode in C2 where you can play in the N1 without any perks and without bowing to the C2 controls.

yes but crysis wars for console would be more open and it would be fun because of destruction capacity also they could always come up with more multiplayer modes.
also a crysis1 with multiplayer(even if it is not anything special) would feel more like a complete game and would get me to pay atleast 45$

Let's see... CryTek keeps stiffing its PC fans, because they're hellbent on the idea that all of us are dirty thieving pirates or something. Even going as far as to threaten us, by saying Crysis 3 will be console-only.

Yeah, I think that's why a lot of us have been complaining.

@ crysisfan2000

ha ha no the enviroment was static ... i even remember Crysis 1s multiplayer had special DX10 servers at the beginning with some physics in it.
But Crytek refused to take care of the poor performance on that mode and so almost nobody played it.

You have a source for that?

If that were to be the case, it wouldn't be a great loss tbh.

Crysis 2 was awful compared to the original; in story and in gameplay. It stands to reason that this downward trend of what they call improvements will continue.

Besides, whatever they do they can't make Crysis or Crysis: Warhead worse games. Those will stand alone in many PC collections for some time yet, and both have massive replay value.

@MMAMickey

I didnt see the great improvements either.
The maybe best thing was you could play it maxed out with a GTX 280 at release.

I guess they confused simplification with improvement.

Of course, it's only my opinion, but the only thing Crytek added to the Crysis series with Crysis 2 was 'ledge grab'. Everything other than that was a downgrade.
