I've been playing through this save for quite a number of hours and am now level 20. I have played through the entire save without incident, encountering maybe 2 or 3 CTDs the entire way through. However, I have found that now my game crashes upon saving in any way, be it quick save, autosave, or manual save. Note this is not during the Dreamstride or anywhere near Dawnstar for that matter. You can imagine my frustration.

I have searched through various solutions already, including the player.kill, new save, etc. fix that seems to work for a lot of people.

I do find the .tmp files in my save folder. I have cleared all of the saves in my folder except for one older good save that is from JUST before the issue started, and the CTD issue is still occurring. If I start from the good save, the issue happens shortly afterwards, about around the time when it started occurring before.

Do you have any mods ????

What's your saves files size ???

Delete all tmp files. Do you have any .bak files ???? You could rename those to .ess files, but the best you do is, to look at normal sized .ess files. !!!!!

Disable all autosaves from the game menu.
