Yet again, I am CTDing. The game was running fine, but I had a glitch in better cities that made everything float so I decided to run it through BOSS to fix the load order. Before I did this however, I noticed that I forgot to install the Unofficial Oblivion Patch, so I went ahead and did that, only to find that my game CTDs on start. I run it through obse_loader.exe, the little window pops up (like obse always does), then it crashes, before any screens come up.

CTD on start usually means you are missing a .ESM that a .ESP you have active needs to work. AT least in my experience.

Ok I installed Shivering Isles. The game launches fine now and everything is good, except better cities is not enabled for some strange reason.

BC is not enabled? What do you mean, it appears in your list of active mods.

Did you patch to 1.2.0416 after installing Shivering Isles.

Some mods won't show up at all without the latest patch installed.

Definitely, use BOSS. And for God's sake, read the report it generates. BOSS is more than just an auto-sorter.
