So I have a heavily modded game BUT I use BOSS, Tes5Edit, and check for patches for conflicting mods. I have no issues with my game aside from this CTD at the throat of the world. I'm on the quest to talk to Paarthunax for the first time and he can't finish his dialogue. I have about 10 saves at different spots in the convo trying to progress through it with no luck after 30+ mins. I realize this is most likely a game issue but are there any work arounds?

What you mean, he flies away into the air and spin in circles while dialogue remains active. ????

No, I mean that during the conversation the game will CTD (crash to desktop) and I can't stay in game long enough to complete the quest and leave! lol

I think I might just bite the bullet and use the console command to work around this quest. I really don't wanna go that route out of fear of save corruption or other game issues.

Aha, and have you any clue, what mode could be interfere with Paarthurnax ???

Because otherwise you should see your papyrus log file...

Or you could just disable all your modes, load your save, wait for 31 days and make a new one, exit the game and reload that last save.

Hopefully, you will not get CTD again. !!!!! (After you done it, enable all your modes again).

I don't say it will work, you should try, before you enable the papyrus log...
