I didn't know there was an issue. I've haven't had that problem since the release across two platforms.

The first question is... What platform are you playing on?

I can only assume that CTD is referring to the PC desktop, but you never know. So, based on that, one still must ask...

1. What are your hardware specs?
2. Are you running the latest patch?
3. Are you running any mods?
4. How many mods?
5. Are they installed properly?
6. Did you create a Bash patch?
7. Did you run BOSS?
8. Do they contain "Dirty Edits"?
9. Did you clean them with TES5Edit?
10. What is your Load order?
11. Are you running the Unofficial Skyrim Patches?

4) mods about 50, I don't consider texture replacers (environment) a MOD. Using Vivid's, SMIM for outside and aMidianBorn's texture replacers inside. so that is not in the count.

24a) COT, RLO, Lanturns, UFO, a few standalone followers, footprints, Wet and Cold, all official DLC's, Bring out your dead, When Vamp attacks, Run for your lives, HD armour standalone mods (5 -6) again AmidianBorn's, etc.

9) no, dont know how or why

You should post your load order. Also, have you BOSS'ified it?

I wouldn't try to start a flame war, if I were you.

Points 6, 7 and 9 are your major problems

Doing 6,7,8,9 should do the trick - beside that you can enable your papyrus log file.
