CTD when giving away a zero value item

Hi there. I'm having a reproducible and rather annoying CTD when trying to sell a zero value item. At first I suspected it's Enhanced Economy's fault and wanted to post the report in its thread but after disabling it (uninstalling via BAIN actually) the problem still persists. I also tried disabling Progress's mercantile levelling and double checked if I have non-LE version of Frans but nothing worked. Here's my current load order:

Knowing what the Item was could help?...

Also is the Item MOD added?.....after uninstalling things did you wait out the Respawn/reset? Typical is 3 days..

Hmmm...looking at LO didn't II (item Interchange) add value to things??

Any item with 0 value. Bones, torches, quest notes and so on. Surprisingly when I'm selling 1 torch it works but when I try to sell 2 or more it crashes. Items like collar bones seem to crash the game regardless of amount. And yes, I tried to reset game cells.

Hmmm...looking at LO didn't II (item Interchange) add value to things??

I'll give it a try and rebuild bashed patch without it.

II doesn't "change" any properties of any items and never has.

If it helps, back when I had EE installed getting merchant to 0 gold by selling other stuff and then trying to sell pretty much anything (at 0 price obviously) was also causing a CTD. It seems there's something wrong with 'giving away' mechanism rather than prices themselves. The 'give away' menu shows up correctly, game crashes after that.

Since I have received one similar report about crashing when giving away items with EE, I assume EE is the cause. Can you post your EE ini file, it may give me a hint about the cause?

I no longer have it installed so unless EE makes some permament changes to the game something else must be causing this. However, if it helps it was default ini without any changes.

No permanent changes at all (except that prices of items gets stuck in the savegame, but that's true for all mods that changes prices through scripts). And it is interesting to hear that the CTD when giving away stuff was NOT EE's fault. It may be a direct cause of OBSE, they had big problems with some of the new trade functions added in OBSEv19, causing CTD in various situations... I thought all was fixed, but one can never be sure.

Scruggsy is looking into it. Have a look at the OBSE thread. Another user is reporting the same thing and it seems to be an OBSE issue.

I haven't had that problem recently with OBSE 20 , (I give away Most of my Worthless junk everytime I empty my "Automatic Bags" ) I Did have vendor related crashes in a previous game, but it was certain books, and I'd allready sold the guy about 20 tons of ...

*raises hand* I'm one of those who had the CTD issue when giving away a 0 value item, but removing EE didn't left any problem behind. OBSE 20 runs flawlessly a bunch of plugins on my end with no problem whatsoever. I doubt this is OBSE related. I'm of no help at all, I know.

And strangely enough I've tossed numerous 0 value items at merchants both before and while using EE. Although I don't know if any of that's been done with OBSE 19 or 20 yet.

I've had issues with this as TNO knows.

But I've not had a chance for serious game play or testing this in the last few months.

The crashes I had did not occur as soon as I sold (gave) a 0 value item, but would always occur as soon as the dialogue was exited. In other words I could give away numerous amounts, but then no crash until I exited talking to the merchant.
