Hi, I've been experiencing CTD's when entering the market place in Rivet city and when entering and exiting the metro stations. Sometimes it goes straight to desktop and other times the screen will go black for a few seconds with the sound effects audible and then put the "report this error to microsoft" box before closing. Mainly this occurs at Rivet city, the metro crashes seem to be completely random. I have GOTY with all the DLC and 1.7 patch installed on an XP system. All drivers are upto date as of 07/04/11.

I had the same problem with rivet city, what I did was when you are in rivet city, activate the console and type in "metrocenter08" (I believe thats it) and you will be by the door under one of the subways, exit and you are out of rivet city.

Thanks for that tip, i'll make a note of it. But problem solved. My graphics card upped and died last night. Its only 15 months old! In fact I had another card by the same company a few years back and that died shortly after it ran out of warranty. I won't mention the company as I've probably just had bad luck with there products.
