CTD when I switch/cast spells

So I just bought a new laptop, transfered all of my mods from my PC and installed via 50 steps to CTD free FCOM game (http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1004123). I followed all the steps to a tee and loaded my mods 1 by one but didn't realize i had this problem till after everything was loaded.

Whenever I switch from the default spell that is set up after you create your character I get a CTD. Sometimes the game doesnt crash but I would say 75% of the time whenever I switch spells and cast the spell I get a CTD.

I dont have magic overhaul mods besides Judgement of the Nine. I know I do have alot of mods installed and im sure somewhere theres a conflict or two but ive tried to figure out where and cant.

  • Shouldn't you not be using real lights along with All Natural?
  • You should have only the Qarl's Harvest Add-on MMM version and not the regular Qarl's Harvest Add-on as well.
  • You're also missing the FCOM OMG SRT plugin. You need it since you have both OMG and Slof's Robe Traders running.
  • Harvest Flora needs to be version 3.0.1 to avoid an Oblivion gate crash.

The above leads me to suspect that you haven't pored over the BOSSlog and followed all its instructions, considering I know that the Qarl's Add-on note is there.

I would start with the BOSSlog and fix everything mentioned there. Then, rerun BOSS and rebuild your bashed patch. Perhaps that will be enough to clear up your spell problem. If not, you'll at least have cleared away the rubble so you can do a proper troubleshooting.

Thanks, I didnt realize real lights was integrated into All Natural, I thought you needed the original as well. Didnt see that in boss, I guess i read through it to quick. Ill fix everything else you mentioned as well and see if it fixes the problem.

I fixed all that, still getting CTD with spells tho. What should I do next?

This is just guessing, but...

I would start by making sure your races plugins are all in order. Race changes can affect spells. And I know that setting Cobl races plus Tamriel Travellers plus other things can get tricky.

Didn't see you mod list, but if you got mods or texture replacers for the spell effects, you might want to remove them.
