CTDs

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 7:30 pm

Im having way too many CTDS. Im playing Zombie Apocolips and every time i enter combat with a huge horde my game crashes. I don't think its just that ZA is a big mod, because I know a lot of people who play it with no lagg or any problems. The strangest thing is i do not have any lagg, it just crashes. Is it possible that because my FA game used to crash so much ( when i had a lot of mods on ) that now it crashes more often? This happened with Oblivion and Morrowind too.

I know that this isn't a cure all solution, but you can try running the http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6510 on your Fallout3.exe.

Follow the directions in the readme to the letter! Especially, make a backup copy of Fallout3.exe. Go to your Fallout3 install folder, right click on the file, and select Copy. Then right click a blank area in the folder, and select Paste. You'll get a file named Fallout3 - Copy.exe.

The LAAE reduced my CTDs alot. I hope it works for you, too.

Good luck.
