Cuirasses and greaves are now merged for sure

I wouldn't be that happy with a change like this unless they explain the reason behind it. Not deal breaking, definitely, I just don't like less customization. Armor slots is one of the best things in Morrowind.

It must have been june then cuz it was six pages.

Thanks, I'll have to dig around for it. After the Game Informer article, I stopped really looking at Skyrim info until E3. From the quotes mentioned, I'd say still unconfirmed tho, but I need to find and read that article anyways ;) Personally, I could go either way, I don't think I ever wore mismatched armor, but I see the appeal on both sides.

Well on a happier note, does the use of U intsead of YOU bug anyone else?

But on topic, what Luke showed I've already wondered about for awhile. If you look at all the different screens of Mr. Viking man you can tell little, slight differences, right down to the length of the horns on the helmet. I have faith.

I'll trust Vsions on this one. There's more to this than we think.

It would make some sort of sense that greaves and cuirasses are together because of the way they are forged. Not every piece of armor would be made by the same armorer which means the sizes would be different. This would most likely be only on plate item because of the material its made with.

Except in real life they are seperate pieces of armour and someone could easily have a different person make their greaves then the person who made the curiass.

Personally I prefer it separate but because I can mix clothes with armor and there's more stuff for me to enchant. Joined armor wouldn't svck, I'm sure Bethesda knows what they're doing

i will gladly give up greaves if they allow different designs of the same armor. it would be nice to have different types of leather and steel armor instead of everyone wearing the same thing all the time. i guess clipping issues must have been to much or something but hopefully the trade off is worth it.

More dumbing down for no reason. Separate armor slots must be too spreadsheety.

Same Armor, different configuration. UPGRADED. So, let's wait and see.

get it? I am 99% percent certain we'll get a "collect five iron ore, get smither skill of 23 = upgrade requirements" intead of anything customizable.

Didn't a developer say only yesterday in a thread exactly the same as this, not to assume until we know for sure?

AAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!! This is driving me NUTS!!!! It was NOT CONFIRMED, QUITE THE OPPOSITE IN FACT! I'm seeing dozens of threads saying this, I'm gonna go crazy! Vsions (a dev) himself said to "Not jump to conclusions." Not only that, but Cheng in no way says this! In fact, he says the EXACT OPPOSITE!!! He goes on about how many options you have customizing your character!!!

I am deeply sorry if it turns out that they are in fact not in the game. Wouldn't I feel like an idiot. :P

There are no GREAVES! Theres the Armour and when its attached to the player it looks like a dress and covers the legs, all the armour does this, you can't even see the greaves.

Well unless you will be able to upgrade a leather strappings to an iron armor then they might work that way...
