Curious about Custom Merchants

So I tried the few steps on making a merchant, but I want to be a little advanced if possible. I wanted the option to buy from this merchant and use them as a follower. Is it possible to do such a thing or not? Because I followed the vanilla steps on making a merchant, and it didn't work. Then I did the nexus wiki steps and still didn't work. I have JobMerchantFaction on there, along with the NPC faction that enables them to sell their goods, and of course plot times on when they'll be setting up shop.

Is it considered a dialogue bug? Or was I suppose to copy a merchant, then reformat it how I wanted? Mind you I made this merchant from scratch

Copying a merchant won't work. I just did a merchant (with house) myself using the ck wiki and it works perfectly. The only thing that isn't clear in the wiki is that, if your merchant has the "VendorMiscList", you must put it "notsell/buy" or you will get an empty inventory when you ask the merchant.

The other important thing is that you must chose a voice that has the merchant dialogue. Check other merchants to see what voice they have and make your choice.

That's all I can say as you don't mention what doesn't work in your merchant. :)

Ahhh it's probably the voice thing then. Odd though, for sultry is part of the merchant dialogue I thought?
