Curious who liked becoming a vampire?

I always had all my armour resist fire damage, it doesn't do any damage at 100% resistance.

There were two main reasons I disliked vampirism in Oblivion.

Firstly, the nights were too short. I never liked using the wait function much with any character because it felt a bit like cheating and not really immersive. But as a vampire you couldn't really move around during the day so you were forced to use it a lot or have to sleep a lot, if you could find a bed.

Secondly, the nights in Oblivion just weren't really interesting. There were way too bright and I never really got that night feeling. So most of my characters just slept through the night so I could play by day, which looked far better in my opinion.

No thanks, not a vampire, not a werewolf either.

I tried it when it was offered in the db quest line. I made sure to have a save first, and I was glad it did. It was more annoying than anything, and I didn't keep it.

Never liked it. Felt more like it was a tacked on little novelty to the people who wanted it, instead of a fully developed playstyle.

It would have been okay if I hadn't looked like a total freak after the vampiric transformation. I could have handled going out only at night and the blood svcking and all of that if only I didn't have that absolutely hideous face, especially when I modded so hard to make my character look pretty.

Also, it would have nice if there had been actual vampire clans that you could join or communicate or work with. Being a vampire was really lonely, especially when the only two real vampires in the game didn't want a whole lot to do with you (count of skingrad) or you had to eventually kill them (You know who I'm talking about.) Vile Lair add-on was a nice little feature for vampire characters, though.

I might try it again, though, just for kicks.

If Skyrim has vampires, and you can become a vampire, I hope that there will be changes to how they work, how they look, and make it a lot less lonely of an existence.
