Can you patch cupprupt saves files and if so when will there be a patch

Now, whether corrupt files will load once the patch is released is anyones guess. I'd highly doubt it, but I'm not a programmer so don't take my word for it. It says the patch is available, which I'm assuming is the first one released a few days after the release. Another patch hasn't been announced just yet, but is on it's way.

meh. mine tells me the save i'm trying to load relies on downloaded data that is no longer available.

It will, due to the bug. Once the upcoming patch is active, it'll never happen again. As for recovering corrupt save-games, I havn't a clue whether that will or won't be possible.

so here i am again, not playing new vegas, waiting for the patch for the save game bug/glitch. Cant load. Just waiting........this is awful *breaksdown* okay but really, i would imagine the patch should be able to fix the files, i hope. Isnt the game the problem, not the files. The files themselves are fine.

if it's a dlc error, then it SHOULD work, otherwise i wasted 26 hours on a lvl 20 character.

Hopefully, they are taking this long because the patch is uber and fixes all kinds of stuff lol.
