I have just tried to install the goty edition of Morrowind on my new laptop (windows 8.1). Unfortunately I can't get pat the title screen.

One I select play from the launch screen everything loads up but the game cursor is frozen in the centre of the title screen and won't move. I can still see my usual cursor across the top edge and right edge of the screen. All I can do is alt-tab and close it.

This is the warning I get.

Texture "Textures\_land_default.tga" count 3.
Texture "Textures\menu_thick_border_bottom_right_corner.dds" count 2.

I have installed it into my user folder instead of program files and also tried running as administrator but I get the same result each time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. In over 10 years I've only managed to play through this game once. I thought with a new laptop I would be set to explore again but so far I've had no luck
