Everytime I make a custom armor ID for Helmets and Glasses.... maybe other things also. It equips all funky... uhmmm. It equips on the side of my face, take a look!

Does anyone know a fix to this?

* Oh yeah! And the shades that are currently worn are not custom. I had to at least let those guys look somewhat decent.

This is an easy fix.

You'll need to go to Character and, hit the Update FaceGen Model Availability, save and test again your helmet should sit in the appropriate place now.

I actually have another issue that can hopefully have an easy solution. Figured instead of making another topic I'd knock it out here.

Whenever I type really long stories into a custom computer terminal, it doesn't allow me to scroll down to read the whole thing in game.

I'm glad I could help with the helmet issue. I'm embarrassed to say I had the same problem but, it took me something like three weeks to figure out. :brokencomputer:


I think the only way you can scroll through the text is by using the up down arrow key. I've never seen scroll bars where they should be. I use something like notepad to type my long notes. this way I can read them, spell check them. after I'm finished I simply copy and, paste my note into the GECK form I've created.

i had the same problem (glasses at the side of the head), did the "Update FaceGen Model Availability" und the "character" menue in the main window and now all glasses (even the ones i didn`t change... or didn`t want to change) are at the side of the head ... :brokencomputer:

I've never seen a "scroll" option on a terminal in game. If you click in the middle of the terminal screen, it should load the next bit of text on the terminal screen.
