Custom Beginning Deluxe Mod

Post » Wed Mar 11, 2015 5:34 am

Any out there who use this mod have any issues with 'ammo weight,' removal of the Pip-Boy glove, or have experience using this with Darnified UI?

What custom beginnings have you tried? I'm on my first playthru with this and chose the wasteland engineer.

I really enjoy this mod and would like to discuss it & possibly troubleshoot a few minor issues.

[Edit: Also want to add that this mod has an additional 'GOTY.esp' in additon to its basic esp and was wondering if anyone knows what the GOTY.esp actually adds.

I played both with and without it and did not notice any differences in gameplay with it not installed.]

I haven't tried this mod, but I have used the Regulator alternate beginning in FWE (which, the author says, this mod borrows from). I liked it. But nowadays I use the console to make my own alternate beginnings.

I have FWE installed on one of my 2 PCs; overall I really like FWE for the amount of content it adds with stability; I normally run about 20 mods at a time.

Though FWE offers a stable combination of combined mods, after four years solid using it I find myself wishing there were more options for tweaking it. For example I noticed that with FWE's default sneak settings that the foe-markers on your compass do not show up until enemies are fairly close even with Perception of 10, but this can be "fixed" using the FWE configuration menu.

I wish a few other details were adjustable with an in game menu, but oh well.

How do you make an alternate player beginning with console commands?

That sounds fun!
