I was wondering if anyone has experienced this, and could offer a solution (if there is one). I wanted to write a brief intro to my mod in a book, and place it somewhere in the city I created. So I copied off an existing book, gave it a unique name, wrote some stuff in it, and placed it. That all worked fine, and I can read what I wrote, but whenever I click on "Close" after reading the book, the game temporarily freezes for about 15-20 seconds. I placed an original Morrowind book next to it, and I can read and close that one without any lockup, but my custom book always freezes. Anyone know why? Or better yet, how to fix it? :hehe: Thanks in advance!

Didn't you by chance break some of HTML tags in your book?

Not sure... How would I do that? If I did, it wasn't deliberate (I don't even know what HTML tags are).

Morrowind books use a limited subset of the 'codes' that define webpages. These allow you to centre text, to define a font to be used and to add line breaks, for instance.
