custom characters

I just don't see how anyone could play and fail something for hours and find that "fun".

There is the Devil May Cry 4 way of failing, which is annoying because of the atrocious camera work.

And there is the Super Mario Bros. way of failing, which is comprehensible because it's always very obvious what you're supposed to do and how.

So the way I understand it, we can have multiple characters with different loadouts and builds?

This way when we start up a game we can load up a pre-made toon?

That is correct. You can change your character between rounds as well.

I honestly don't know what to say now, because I've tried to explain this over and over and it doesn't seem to be getting through. I'm gonna try one last time, and leave this last post in the thread. If you can't understand this, then I'm sorry, but I'm not gonna try and explain it anymore.

I like games with challenges, and I have nothing against a game with a challenge. I never have, and I never will. The only thing I have a problem with is that some games make completely unreasonable challenges that in no way whatsoever reflect my skill at the game, and are nothing but pure 100% frustration. If I can't complete one or two challenges, I'm not gonna "act like a child" and get rid of the game, I'll keep trying until I can finish it. But if I see all of the challenges work like this
Tier One: Easy
Tier Two: Medium
Tier Three: "I Would Rather Gouge My Eyes Out"

Then yeah, I'm gonna return the game and play something that isn't frustrating like that.
If a game does nothing but frustrate me, am I a child for wanting to return it? No, I'm not.

I've already explained I've done things like Halo 3 on Mythic, I've beaten numerous games on their highest difficulty, and I had a damn fun time playing them, but what's frustrating me about this thread is all of you are acting like I don't want a challenge, I want everything handed to me on a silver platter, and that I've never played a game on anything other than easy. I get that you're trying to be respectful, but I'm not really seeing it when you keep accusing me of not wanting a challenge and assuming I can't play a game, get to an impossible spot, then immediately cry over it.

lol, video games in the beginning were exremely hard, people would spend months and thousands of quarters to get high score on Donkey Kong or PacMan, note that's high score not finish. Those were the games that started it all, and now challenges may be TOO challenging ?

I gots to laugh, for anyone who's actually concerned, you don't have to play the challenges, they don't unlock anything not available by just playing normally, they're a "challenge" for you or you and a buddy to progress on your own while learning how the game wants you to deal with each class in the proper game environment, That said, they're probably going to be the only "Leaderboards" that people are used to

So let me get this straight...... challenge mode unlocks weapons and attachments and NOT articles of clothing for character customization, right?

I understand the debate and I can agree that if the difficulty is impossible then there is really no point in playing it but I doubt these challenges will be impossible. Difficulty is relative to skill so it only makes sense that special items act as trophies rewarding hard work, skill and persistence. That is how it should be..... There is a saying, "Nothing worth having comes easy." I'll leave you with that.

I thought challenges also unlocked certain pieces of clothing.
I'm really confused when it comes to certain things of customization.

One interview said that by level 20 you would have all the clothing. Which leaves weapons and attachments to be unlocked by challenges.
