I answered this earlier.

It helps to read the whole topic, especially at this point when it is only two pages long.

You still haven't answered my question now the thrill is gone :(

Firstly, you never asked a question in this thread.

Secondly, what are you talking about with your thrill being gone? You make no sense, nor do you make any dollars.

How funny! Squirrelly answered Yokudan's question. But Yokudan didn't read through the entire discussion to find the answer, and Squirrelly didn't remember already answering the question. Classic!

http://www.bungie.net/stats/reach/careerstats/weapons.aspx?player=SquirrellyOtter&vc=3 Pummel is my top weapon in Reach and I actively pursue Assassinations at every available opportunity; http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/Commendations.aspx?player=SquirrellyOtter#multiplayer I die a lot for my trouble, but it's far more fun to be in the middle of the carnage than http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=12277384&player=SquirrellyOtter.

Take that back didn't see the reply at the bottom of the page. Didn't have to be a [censored] about it though it was a mistake :violin:

I apologize, I indeed didn't remember who had asked that question.

And as for being a [censored] I was very confused by how you could lose a thrill off of a game concerning controls... which was why I cracked the bad pun. Again, my apologies.

I'll be using the default because it is similar to Halo Reach and COD combined. (COD using RS as melee and LT as aim and Reach using LB as abilities and they both use Y to switch weapons.) So the default is fine with me........

What I meant was that at first I was excited by a fellow Halo player/sprint user and it I was interested in seeing how you played the game but then I felt that you were ignoring me which obviously wasn't the case. Simple misunderstanding. In any news thanks for the reply although I wouldn't have guessed you would play so recklessly

I am working on my own unique set. Then I will have to test it when Brink comes out.

*snicker* Oh yeah. Relatively speaking I'm still quite the nubcake at gaming. I only just got an Xbox in Feb 2010 (very proud of my orange "1" banner on my Xbox profile now) and only played Halo 3 for all of the six months before Reach came out. I still have a negative K/D in H3 actually, whereas I just recently hit 1 K/D in Reach. It's probably not the way to play in Brink but for Halo it's a ton of fun and that's all I care about.

I love the LT aim, RT shoot. I can't imagine playing without that. And RS melee works well for me. If I end up not using gerndes much (Some games I never use them but some games I spam them like crazy) then I'll use RB for action/reloads like Gears.

I'm pretty efficient since I instantly hit the after burners whenever I'm in serious danger using my omniscient knowledge of the map to find the nearest escape route and recover. Most of my deaths come from things not going according to plan (enemies coming out of nowhere etc.) and idiot teammates drawing enemies towards me killing me in the process. Other than that I'm a crafty escape artist that has knowledge ofevry possible scenario and 9/10 will pick the best one to lead my team to victory with at least a +5 K/D

I thought about using RB that way, but then I may as well go back and use Recon controls on Reach and Default on 3/ODST. Which would be an absolute pain given how I trained so hard to accustom myself to Reach's Default controls via Walkie Talkie on 3/ODST.

Plus I've gotten used to seeing "X to " from all the videos. Seeing the rather-unattractive RB symbol where the X is would be unpleasant to look at.

RT aim
LT shoot

Then I have the bumpers and controls sticks and I need: sprint, jump, crouch in order to make most use of smart, then melee. Trying to figure out the optimal solution.

Whatever the default is, I'll adapt. Like from going from CoD to Battlefield.

Effectivness > looks.

As a Medic or a Soldier constantly tossing out health or ammo, that would make sense. For me as an Engineer, buffs are less commonly passed out and I have more time having to interact with build-ables anyway where I have to "focus" more on that task than the simple toss of spare mags or the stab of a health booster.

RB to revive or health boost someone...............I already had my index finger on the so i move it up a few CM to do what I need and move it back down to prepare for a fight. Super easy.
