Custom Fit perk not working for me?

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 3:12 pm

I have head, chest hands and feet, all with light armour, I add up all the bonuses for each one, but in the end I get the same amount. Im supposed to have 25% more armour if I have all of them on, but I dont?

I was wondering the same thing.
I noticed that the so called Custom Fit perk doesn't actually show up unless you have a full set. I have all of the Shrouded Dark Brotherhood set and it shows up saying: (under Magic>Active Effects)

Shrouded Armor Full Set: Increases Armor Rating by 25 pts. -- that is with the level 30 perk: Custom Fit.

I think the real name for the perk is suppose to be called Matching Set. Maybe what we thought we were choosing doesn't get offered until 70 skill points?

Since Custom Fit mistakenly offers the full set perk, than maybe the so called Matching Set perk offers the all light armor equipped perk?

so under the light armor skill tree the 2 perks should really read:

level 30 - Matching Set: Additional 25% Armor Bonus if wearing a matched set of Light Armor.

level 70 - Custom Fit: 25% Armor bonus if wearing all Light Armor: head, chest, hands, feet.)

My platform is PS3.

Anyone else notice the switched titles of these 2 perks?

NEVERMIND all of that. I was wrong. :)

I am wearing dark brotherhood armor and automatically (without perks) get a full set bonus. level 30 custom fit perk adds the armor value with a mixed light armor set. and the level 70 perk Matching Set gives an "additional" 25% when wearing a full set.

The automatic full set bonus threw me off. :)
