Custom race texture problems.

I'm trying to create a new race with some pretty fancy-shmancy textures, and all of them show up fine except the face. The face shows up completely dark. The skin is a lighter blue than Dunmer faces, but it still shows up almost pitch black with the same settings.

I made sure to copy all the textures into the folder, normal maps and all, before I edited the main color texture.

Anyone know what the problem might be?


EDIT: It seems that all other textures work fine, and there's not really anything different between them except some small spots of color.
However, some textures that work in their own folders don't work in my new folder. But others do work in my new folder.

RE-EDIT: I traced the pattern to my DDS exporter. Turns out I was using the wrong compression type for face textures. It should have been DXT3 or 5, not sure which. But I've got it working now.
