Customisation - Hair and Possibilities

Post » Wed Aug 12, 2009 5:36 am

We need epic hair yes? i was disappointed in mass effect 2 hair styles, its so plain! :gun: :disco:

You guys think it would be cool to wear a costume and represent your favourite game? i say yes, i'm only mentioning what is possible. Other gaming companies might say no to costumes.

ok I don't get your chosen poll options at all, but I'm all for as many customisation options as possible be they clothing, weapon or true physical appearance related.

you'll most likely have many different styles of everything to play around with since no females makes for even more room for everything else

I don't play the game for the customization even though it's a very nice feature.
I don't care about hairstyles, I'll be using masks and goggles anyways.

I voted Yes and Other. I don't know what you mean by Asian, exactly, but I would like some cool hair styles of course.

And Other, because frankly I don't know what games Brink could borrow costumes from. Microsoft would never let another game take their Mjolnir armor, I do know that much. :frog:

apparently epic hair = Asian hair... hence i will not vote since i find their rediculiously unrealistic styles [censored] when put on a realistic character... If it can be done reasonably on a person, it should be doable ingame, which is a HORDE of options... of this i will agree, but not lame ass anime hair...

He wants anime hair.

Oh, well why didn't he just say so? But no, as much as I like anime, which is a lot, I don't want anime hairstyles in Brink. It would look ridiculous. The art styles simply would not mix well, methinks. :shakehead:

One good thing is that two of the preorder packs are based on other games, even if it is more homages than armour.
Plus, anime hair is the worst. It is ridiculous, even in the right context. I don't want to worry about characters hair clipping during cutscenes. Plus, it can easily be a matter of physics. Shorter hair means less movement, allowing for more time to focus on gameplay elements.

More customization is fun but...now this is just how my guy is gonna look when it comes to hair style....my guy is going to have a shaved head(razor shaved) like me...with oil/soot smudges and goggles

as for the costumes...pfft...I already got the Doom pack pre-ordered, nothin more i could want.

its just the hair, if you seen mass effect 2, ego draconis 2 or alpha protocol (ew...) there isn't much to choose from.

I voted Yes and Other. I don't know what you mean by Asian, exactly, but I would like some cool hair styles of course.

Ye i said something in my first comment, sometimes other companies agree with costumes, like the gears of war (xbox 360) or killzone 2 (ps3) in lost planet 2

apparently epic hair = Asian hair... hence i will not vote since i find their rediculiously unrealistic styles [censored] when put on a realistic character... If it can be done reasonably on a person, it should be doable ingame, which is a HORDE of options... of this i will agree, but not lame ass anime hair...

Some anime hair styles are normal, their hair styles arn't always stupid as ...cloud's when its in the rain or goku's hair.
