Customisation Options

Post » Thu Feb 17, 2011 6:01 pm

looking on the website (the customisation bit with loads of examples) they seem to be using the same items of clothing a lot.. is this all of the clothing? or is there more options that they are not properly revealing yet? because in some of the gameplay videos, theres stuff like the cowboy hat and the miners hat.. im a bit confused..

Not all outfits are shown until now. But you can be sure you can cloth everything you see in the latest videos, also the cowboy hat.

Don't rely on the game website, they don't bother updating it much.

Apparently those are 75% of all items (7 Security & 8 Resistance; each faction has 10 outfits in total).

What ever the result of clothing I'm sure you'd be able to download more or something :user: , even if not it's not a huge deal, 5 shirts x 10 skins = 50 different shirts :deal: seems ok to me, food for thought...

Maybe you change:

Material of:
- Bags
- Straps

or colour of:
- Bags
- Straps

Or even:
- Textures of the whole bag/strap thing, like.. Turning it into bandages, or wrapped cloth

So if you had to give an overall number of clothing items,(without changing materials etc) would there be over 50 different items? I hope so

And perhaps even details.

Each archetype has roughly 5 clothing items. That's at least 100 items in total.

On top of that there are 12 faces, various hairstyles, facial hair, tattoos and some other minor accessoires.

Sweet i think Brink is my most anticipated game for a long long time. I love customisation in games, ill probably spend about an hour just making my guy look as stylish as possible before atually even playing.

It's a shame theres not a laser removal for tats.:prod: If you get a better one you would have to make a new character (just a guess)
