I've had 4 supply lines cut for no apparent reason, I've had a temporary loss before (during an attack) but this time it seems permanent and Ive needed to re-assign new Settlers to the line.

ANy clues why this might be happening? I'm presuming a Provisioner has died somewhere, I have backup supply lines so my overall network keeps running but I need to work out why this is happening.

Maybe I should call Nick Valentine to solve the case

I don't think they can die.. I followed some and they just lie down the same way as your followers. stands up when the fight is done and moves on.

Not sure, can provisioners die if you're not around? I've only ever had one die 'permanently' and that's because she ran directly infront of me at the exact moment I fired my fully charged 6 crank laser musket at an attacking super mutant...

I never lost anyone in my 277 hours playthrough, all settlements are connected and some even walks past Supermutant encampments.

Mine never die but they loving bring hostile Yao Guai to my settlements.

I've had a glitch where they appeared lost until I saved and reloaded. Then they appeared again.

Aye I've seen them take some horrendous damage but then walk it off, I know from other threads I can kill them - its a brutal way of reassigning, because we can't the solution is kill the provisioner and then re-assign a new one. But I thought they were immune to none player death?

Its just been on tonights session, 3 supply lines have cut and was not influenced by a quest at any of their bases.

For sanity's sake I've stared upgrading their weapons/armour but its a little odd.

Ps Apologies for triple post, no idea what hapened there.

I'm sure I had one kidnapped in a Minuteman quest. They supply route disappeared until I rescued them. Not sure what would have happened if I'd left it to reach a failed quest message.
