Cynicism. What does it mean to you? Does it have a function? How do you regard those that are not cynical? Discuss.

I don't care much for unbridled cynicism.

Cynicism at a very rudimentary level means survival. Then again, there are plenty of ways to survive.

Being cynical is just one of the many hats I'll wear when im trying to read a person or understand them.

As for how I regard those who are not cynical. I view them as people who are like me.

Cynicism is annoying, and I don't like overly cynic people. It does not have any positive functions and can only serve to negatively influence your outlook on life. I think that we all display signs of cynicism at times, but you shouldn't let it define your character.
