Has anyone seen any good pictures or videos comparing places in ESO to the same places in Oblivion? I've searched for it a few times but found nothing.

I havn't watched it all (or even most) but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvXS91_s1D4&feature=c4-overview&list=UUQb-Zp6GQPCnH6W3Emp00vQ might be worth a look
nice video. Not surprisingly the worlds look mostly different, what actually does not bother me.
What I looked at was difference in colors.
- fog, but we were told fog must be there? a pity
- in ESO we got much more toned colors, Oblivion was much more colorfull - that is also pity.
For sure the graphics of ESO are much more superior in the details and are more realistic.
Cyrodill in TESO has less tress. I support the theory that the forest were choped down due to the war effort (to fix keeps, for the siege weapons etc), because there is lumbermills all around and you can see the stumps all over it.
I also believe that Cyrodill is bigger in TESO than in Oblivion.
Yes, but have you seen the imperial city/ noticed current events? everything in cyrodiil feels sad as the world is underattack with a huge war going on as well. the color change makes sense.
I am telling you, they did not chop down a jungle. they may have chopped down forests/parst of them(personally have not seen great forest yet) but if you are referencing the whole jungle thong, it was CHIMed away(or the lousy in game excuse of "transcription error).
You used as a reference a former employee of Bethesda that have the same authority to write lore as any other fan does. Hahah serious, it totally makes sense: the stumps are there, the lumbermills are there, we need a lot of wood for the war.
You do realize that Bethesda acknowledged Michael Kirkbride on his point right? He has also had HUGE influences on Skyrim.
Also, of course there are stumps around the mill, thats what its there for. And I found a book in cyrodiil that said it was a "transcription error" so if you truly cant take MK's good explanation, than you must at least take ZOS's crappy answer.
