i would say the armourers challenge.i really like the story to it and its quite revealing to where the legion got theyre cool looking but terrible armour.

i would actually place tamrielic lore as a second choice as i like finding out obout my favourite daedric items like spell breaker(the heavy sheid from peryityes shrine quest)

The Rear-Guard by Tenace Mourl was an excellent read. Has a nice twist to it.

A Game at Dinner and the Lusty Argonian Maid are by far my favs from Vanilla Oblivion.
Wabbajack from SI
And, the classic, ABCs for Barbarians from Morrowind. . . .I'm just disappointed it didn't do the whole alphabet.

I just read Ruins of Kemel-Ze and it was really cool. The explanation of where Dwarven Armor comes from was very interesting.

It?s not a short book, but really good indeed. Glad you like it too :) Almost felt like Indiana Jones in the end.

Its written more in the poetic 'style' of Morrowind's books, which I adore. And I'm intrigued by the mystery of the Feathered Men.

Perhaps it is an Ayleid. You hear that Ayleids were feathered or at least wore feathers a few times throughout the game.

Besides your favourite books, it would be nice with a link to a picture of someone?s library. I know first hand how long it can take to build and to see a big one, maybe in the Skingrad house, would be cool

I read this the other day twice. The Locked Room By Porbert Lyttumly. I thought I knew what was going to happen but oh no, it was even better than I imagined.

The greatness about books :hehe:

When dealing with the quest for the Gray Prince, http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Journal_of_the_Lord_Lovidicus will find its place in the library too

My second favorite one is The Argonian Account, I really enjoyed that one. 3rd would be the famous 2920 series. 4th probably The Refugees.

Oh and the first one is obviously The Lusty Argonian Maid.? :trophy:

I've always been fond of the Manuals of Arms and Armor. While simple, I never really had the patience to sit through the other books(although I'm an avid reader in reality), I enjoyed the description of various weapons, armor, and materials.

A Game at Dinner is awesome. I never found a full set for The Real Barenzhia but I liked the first three volumes. And I think it was called The Wolf Queen. That was good to.

A Less Rude Song and The Argonian Account are cool reads too. There are many good books but you have to remember the names as well

I agree. While everything is actually quite logical in those books, it?s nice to get an overview so to speak. They describe all you need for battle well :nuke:

Speaking of battle books, "Report, Disaster at Ionith" is one of my favourites. Interesting story about the difficulty of invading Akavir. Or at least keeping it :P

Besides books, I enjoy The Black Horse Courier too, good reads. I did a bunch of quests that should give me the corresponding editions, but they are not to be found unfortunately. Very sad state of affairs :(

I have collected as many as I´ve found though and I have eleven.

Assassination
Gray Fox, Man or Myth
Gray Fox Unmasked
New 'Doomstones' Series
A New Guild for Fighters
Night Mother Rituals
Poor Burdened by Taxes
Waterfront Raid Fails
Prank Spoils Society Gathering

And the two that are always available in The Black Horse Courier office. How many have you found? Check http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:The_Black_Horse_Courier. If you don´t want to know too much, I suggest you don´t use the link :)
