Redguards control Anvil, right? If so I will ally with them.

You have now asked 3 different factions to be your ally.

Instead of trying to make all sorts of ill-conceived alliances, why don't you act like a real pirate and just raid everyone's supply ships?

Good luck with that. If you're based around the Gold Coast as you say, then you're comming face to face with the race that is renowned to make the best seamen in Tamriel, at very least equal to Nords, likely better. Also, they have cannons.

Tough luck for your what, 600 guys? :P

I just realized that Morrowind has one of Tamriel's only sources of ebony...

There'd be other sources of Ebony in Tamriel. And raiding Leyawiins supply ships would prove to be a bad idea as well :P

Are there any other volcanoes in Tamriel? Because I honestly don't know, and that's how you get ebony.

I would imagine that during the 'creation' point of Nirn itself there would have been at least other volcanoes at one point or another. Or at the very least when a miner hits deep and gets lava they get the ebony. or old lava flows from Red Mountain.

Lol, I feel so outmatched in this game. Everyone has thousands of troops. I have 600. Sibera (Leyawiin) and Woolymammoth (Bruma) are talking like 50,000 isn't awhole lot. lol.

Red Mountain is the only volcano, created as that's where Lorkhan's heart landed after it was fired across the continent on an arrow. It's the Dunmeri tower, just as the Ayleids had White Gold Tower.

Thank you, Gallowglass. And I believe that ebony, unlike regular volcanic glass (also used in armor and weapons), had something to do with the Blood of Lorkhan.

Lorkhan was killed after he tricked or persuaded the Aedra to create Nirn, an event which meant they became less powerful than the Daedra (although both now had limits placed on their power that did not previously exist), and his heart was fired across the continent ;)

That's basically it.

See, I understood none of that paragraph. Except, I think I know what Nirn is. Do you actually have time and patience to sit at the computer and read the UESP? or do you open it to explain stuff to people?

I've been quite bored lately. So bored I've taken to reading the extensive history of a world that doesn't exist.

In Ancient China, a Prince took a force of around 30 to 40,000 troops into a city. The forces of the city numbered around 5 to 10 thousand, and were able to fend off the prince. Never back down just because they have more forces. Unless they have superior weapons, magic, and tactical ability, then yes, back down.

I think them numbers may be a little excessive, especially for the militia in Bruma. But maybe not, who knows

All I know is chorrol has half that force, with no outside Cyrodiil help. And all I have is some noble guy who will probably end up being more a pain in the ass then anything ;)

Also, its Chorrol and Skingrad that are still loyal to the Empire, correct?

Being outnumbered around 1:25/1:32 seems like a pretty good cause for stepping away from open field battles for me. Particularly when the outnumbering side has cannons or tiger people on steroids. :P

Yes, my guys are 500 bare-chested retards with steel cutlasses, and 100 guys that are pretty good. Everybody else? 10,000-60,000 troops. They could overwhelm me even if they were peasants with rusty iron daggers! But noooo, I'm either facing the most naturally talented warriors in Tamriel, or Tiger people on steroids (thanks, PFA!). But I probably won't fight Khajiits. Too far away.

That sounds about right. I have no idea how Wooly thinks he can raise 40 000 soldiers from Bruma.

I only have sixteen thousand soldiers - but like any insurgency in history, we have any advantage you don't!
