Cyrodiil Shattered - Wootz

Post » Wed Jun 09, 2010 3:20 pm

My goal:

WORLD DOMINATION

and for seals to be recognized as the Official Mascot of Tamriel.

But on a more serious note, my main plan is on taking Cheydinhaal, so Argonia can have a good outpost/forward command center. That way, I can plan movements/defences against the Dunmer, who are my main enemy. Of course, direct fights between us will not be in the RP, but that is the main intrest of Argonia at the moment.

Of course, they have Bosmer, which are the Khajiits' main rival/enemy.
And Dunmer, which are my main foe. I think we have similar intrests here. :)

I'm totally still in on this. It just keeps getting more and more interesting.

The Woodsmen remain loyal to Cheydinhal.

Oh, and PFA, you're nobles' goods are forfiet as soon as I get to you...

Oh yeah? Let's see you first get there, through the Empire, or the Nords, or the Ra Gada. Then we can talk about goods. And by the time you smelly lizard-men even come around all your base will be belonging to us.

P.S.: I am not nobles' goods, you silly man. :P

New character.

Name: Sai'f Qutuz
Alias/Nickname: Qutuz
Race: Ra Gada (Na Totambu (Crown), Sentinelian)
Gender: Male
Age: 34

Height: 5'6
Skin Tone: Slightly lighter than usual for a Ra Gada.
Hair Colour: Black
Eye Colour: Dark brown
Significant Markings: A tattoo on his left arm and most of his chest, depicting the Warrior Wave.
Physique: Well-toned

Other aesthetic details: Sai'f looks like a good example of a 'proper' Ra Gada; well-built, somewhat short, carrying himself with the grace of an experienced Ra Gada swordsman. His hair is kept cropped, a fact most of the times hidden by his armour; his face looks rather grim, however that's rather misleading. In the way of facial hair he's grown a very short beard.

Equipment/Pockets/Pouch: N/A

What you are good at: Sai'f, having enjoyed the finer sides of life as a Na Totambu, is good at many things. He can speak, read and write Cyrodiilic, Yoku and Bretic; he's an excellent swordsman and a well-mannered speaker, being primarily a representative of Sentinel's High King. His estates are well-organized, that being another forte of his that he owes to his social class.
What you are bad at: A Na Totambu, he has a fiery hatred for the Cyrodiils, often unable to converse with a traditionalist one without exchanging insults. He does not consider himself military man, although being a skilled swordsman, and keeps away from war most of the time, leaving it to others. He's also not a very skilled horseman, finding himself more comfortable on firm ground than in a saddle.

Weapons: A very finely crafted exquisite single-edged blade, perfectly straight except for a slight curve at the top. 'Tool of HoonDing' is etched into the blade's inner (blunt) edge in Yoku. The handle is made from ivory, crafted just for his hand for a more comfortable grip; the guard is barely notable, an oval highly trimmed with gold and barely wider than the blade itself. At the end of the ivory pommel there is an eye, to which the tassel is attached, being silken red with gold trimming on the sides, being around one and half a span long.
Armour/Clothing: http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Anticlere/Byzantine/saif.jpg, without the shield and with the bands red.
Miscellaneous: A golden amulet, his family's heirloom.

Mentality/Mental description: A Crown through-and-through, Sai'f is quite patriotic. He despises Cyrodiils, although holds little hatred towards the other races. He puts much weight on peoples' family trees and is prejudiced against Forebears; however he's willing to his opinion about individual Forebears should they prove worth it. Being born in Sentinel, Sai'f has little love for the wild, preferring by far such urban centres as the one he grew up in; he isn't a pampered noble however, being more practical than most other Crowns; in fact, one of his favourite pastimes is managing his estates, however he wouldn't consider doing it as a full-time occupation, instead preferring his role as advisor and messenger of the High King. Sai'f isn't a people person, usually favouring solitude to conversation, although the few that he enjoys staying with usually find him to be pleasurable to talk to.

Short Biography: Born in Sentinel into a Na Totambu family, Sai'f spent his whole youth in the city. He was educated by the best teachers his parents' money could afford, paving the way for a career usual for a Crown ? involving one's self in the government. The fact that his parents had both passed away by the time he stepped into the shoes of a statesman, although saddening, did not do him much harm. For a young, opportunistic noble with enough money and estates to his back, no doors were closed; soon he found himself climbing up the stairs of Sentinel with quite some haste, eventually winning the admiration and patronage of the one man that truly mattered ? the High King of Sentinel.

Recently, Sai'f has been sent to the stage of the newest looming war by his patron, to observe and send back correct accounts of how the war effort went and aid with possible situations that would require a high-born messenger such as himself.

Faction Sheet

Rank: Has no official position besides being one of the Na Totambu, however he is kept close by the High King of Sentinel most of the time.
Faction Name: Yokudan Confederacy
Troop Numbers: 25

http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Anticlere/Byzantine/ghulam_guard.jpg - Fearsome slave-warriors in the employ of the High King of Sentinel, each of these men is a masterful warrior, more than capable with his spear and sword and a skilled horseman. Composed almost entirely of slaves or prisoners-of-war from the other city-states, they're forced to defend the person they're assigned to protect as best they can, since should he or she perish their position would not be one to envy.

Whilst the warriors of the Zelaku Tribe are still unwavering in their efforts to topple the empire, they are allowed to assist Dunmeri forces against any barbarian attacks for either a suitable amount of supplies or intelligence. Honest ;)

Hehe you've got another thing coming, Mr. Birthday. :nothanks:

You just wait Forrest, you also have something coming.

Anyone attacks Bruma, you get toasted, by half the army of White Run (about 20,000), the other half coming to reinforce, the army of Bruma (20,000) and the militia of Bruma (20,000).

Da Da Dada...can't touch this...da dada da...

PFA, you may seek shelter in Bruma. Derrik has good respect for nobles, even Imperial ones.

Yea Forrest, you march south, and once EB kicks your A, You'll be knocking at my front door once you get back, so bring it.

I have no interest in the south, so, if you southern nations and groups want to ally, I will. I don't want anything below the Imperial City.

The use of an alliance of two people on the opposite sides of Cyrodiil is doubtful, as is the probability of their emissaries making it through all the lands in-between them, I must say. An alliance with Ra Gada or Khajiiti would make far more sense, since both of them could be a threat to your well-being and are right next to you.

Anvil has several boat-loads of elite troops from Hammerfell, and Cheydinhal has, IIRC, a metric [censored]-load of soldiers coming from Morrowind. You are not untouchable.

How did you manage to raise 40 000 soldiers from a single medieval (or earlier) era city anyway?
