Imperial City and the Jerall Mountains. I wish I could figure out how to have lucid dreams so I could actually fulfill this notion.

I'd probably live in Anvil, as it's pretty (for the most part) and I've always wanted to live in a seaside town
But I think the Great Forest is probably the most beautiful.

I'd like to live in either Chorrol or Imperial City.

And I think both the Gold Coast and Great Forest are equally beautiful. :D

I would want to live in Anvil or Skingrad.
Mostly because I would be a scared little scholar mage hiding away somewhere safe; probably taking up alteration and conjuration.
Ingame I'm a melee fighter though.

I would take a place outside but maybe near a town or city, e.g. I liked the estates of Lord Rugdumph and Lord Drad.

Kvatch, after the siege, and all the Daedra wiped out. I would have the place to myself.

The Imperial City no question, that’s where stuff happens.
Always liked Anvil for some reason, so that’s my summer home B)

I'd opt for Skingrad. While i don't particularly like the city itself, the abundance of alchemical ingredients and limited monsters in the surrounding countryside allows for a good source of income. When i had enough money, i would receive training in the arts of bowmanship and conjuration. My alchemy would supplement my bowman skills with poisons that would kill monsters before they reach me, while conjugation would provide me a means of escape should the danger get too close. When i became skilled enough to fend for myself, i would move to Chorrol as i find it the nicest looking city in the province. I would join the local mages guild to advance my magical ability and constantly improve myself, while using home made potions as a means of income. I find melee to be too risky as it's a win or lose situation without a practical means of escape. Ranged combat lets me use terrain more to my advantage, while picking most of my fights and setting up the scenario that would largely favor me.

The bad thing about Chorrol is the lack of ingredients, and more dangerous monsters, such as trolls who are not only fast, but downright deadly with their killer strength and regenerative powers. So i may just stay in Skingrad, even if it's a much more expensive lifestyle with architecture not to my liking. The abundance of ingredients and lower classes of monsters off set the cons of the city. I can make around 800 gold a day by mixing potions from flax, graqes, tomatoes, and Peony seeds i find in county Skingrad, which would buy me Skingrad manor within the week, while having decent enough furnishings.

In the meantime i would stay at the West Woad inn for 25 gold a night, which is easily paid for with 1-2 potions. But first i would try to get a loan (new life feature?) to pay for my alchemy equipment needs. If that fails, the whole process could take much much longer as i sell next to worthless ingredients for gold.

I'd like to live in Bruma or Leyawiin, but I have no experience with snow, or really, cold weather at all, and I've never been somewhere where it's consistantly rainy, so I'd probably stick with the city I'd be most comfortable in: Anvil. I definantly think that the Jerall Mountains are the most beautiful places in the game.

If Cyrodiil was real, I'd life in Hammerfell. jk. There is something about the way the western part of Cyrodiil is portrayed that I like, I don't know what it is, but it just looks... good. So I'd live there.

As a Khajiit Mage in real life....

I'd want to be at the Arcane University - I'm not sure I'd count it as being IN the Imperial City, but I'll vote it that way. Vacations on the beaches of the Gold coast, just to watch the sunsets (and gather alchemical ingredients on the trip).

I've always preferred living in Skingrad most, and then Chorrol, so that's what my answer would have to be. As the OP said, I find Chorrol to be charming. And for some reason, I just like the stonework houses and vineyards of Skingrad.

I'm just so torn...but for this I picked Kvatch pre-siege, I've always wanted to know and it looks so beautiful (minus the daedra and dead bodies and all :P). Failing that I'd pick bruma, I love the mountains (and am SO excited to see Skyrim!).

I think I'd probably end up living as a hermit in the great forest (my other pick) though, a mad old hermit....heheheh

...for me it's Frostcrag Spire, Jerall Mountains (my HQ)... far as the rest, it's according to the mood, weather, and nighttime/daytime... I find that running through the woods at night, especially in the rain, is a great stress reliever... Anvil's dock is definitely an awesome spot with the old ships and all, especially at sundown...ever walk out on the water a ways and watch it???

Agree, I'd live in the Imperial City in winter and Anvil in summer. We could travel together on the way to and fro :D

I also love the Colovian Highlands, so pretty. It reminds me of California.

I'd love to live in the Imperial City pre-Oblivion Crisis, as I'd imagine it'd be like living in Rome during the reign of Augustus or Hadrian. Hell, I'd even want to live there when Titus Mede comes marching through as the atmosphere would be similar to when Julius Caesar marched on Rome. Basically all of the political intrigue and charismatic larger-than-life figures would make it a hell of a place to live.

I'd live in the wild, or in a village, but I picked Chorrol. I always loved that place...so friendly.

My favourite region is, strangely, the Heartlands.

All in all, I'd prefer to live in Anvil. It's just a nice town in a great location. However, the Gold Coast isn't my favorite part of Cyrodiil - that'd be the Nibenay Valley. I've already got a spot picked out for a vacation cabin on a hillside on the east shore of Niben Bay.

I'd probably live in Bruma, a nice cabin house with a roaring fire and my gear hung up with all my collected treasures and trophies displayed about the place in an organized fashion.
Seems like a good place to retire after a long heroic journey.

Mind you, I'd probably be a Dark Elf with the beating heart of a Nordic man.
