What's the big diference between them ?

I mean, i always thought that the Divines were the good guys and the Daedric Princes the evil ones..

But i was wrong, Meridia and Azura for example, they ain't bad. Meridia wants to spread life and light.

So it's really confusing for me to understand why there is this division between Aedra and Daedra. Help ?
