"Daedra, Diseases and a Doomsday Prophecy"

Four hundred years before the events of morrowind a terrible gate to a never before seen realm of oblivion was opened by a strange and warped dying and diseased daedra prince, in the grip of insanity he ordered the daedra under his command to attack anything anywhere just to see some destruction before he died. a team of heroes was sent in to close it for what the people of morrowind thought would be forever. The army that battled th daedra that poured out were over joyed to hear that the gate was finaly closed but the heroes who had closed it were still trapped inside...
As the horrors of oblivion began to affect them the band of heroes desperately attempted to reopen the gate simply to escape from these horrors.
You are this band of heroes and can you reopen the only door that should remain closed for eternity?

heres a rough char sheet guide:
Ragnokk character sheet

race: dark elf

appearance: shoulder blade length black hair, blood red eyes, pale white face, tall and very skinny

armour: full chain mail apart from a strange briast plate made of a dunmer metal no helmet and no shield

spells: destruction: flare shock launch frost touch conjuration: skeleton daedra ancestor guardian

weapons: two steel long swords and a steel bow with silver arrows

misc inventory: 5 healing potions 1 fatigue potion 2 magika potions and a book on daedric runes

class: custom class: druchii

main skills: blade, destruction, light armour, marksman, blunt, conjuration, alteration

attributes: strength, willpower

short bio: born close to the border of morrowind this dark elf tried to join the dunmer legion at the age of 19 but they turned him down for reasons he will not reveal. He tried to serve in the imperial legion but didn't enjoy it and so he became an adventurer...



DAEDRA POINTS: (all will be revealed please put this as 9 for now)

PHOBIA: (again all will be revealed just put something serious not "eggophobia")


who will be the first to sucumb to the disease of insanity and fear that so poluted the daedra realm into the terrible state it was in when it was opened?

Excuse me, hate to sound rude but I would prefer to see a more well-structured charecter sheet and the ability to create our own class before I join and a better plot, Sorry if it seems harsh but tally-ho

Yes, I really don't get it why do you only allow us to be of a pre-designed class. That's not exactly common practice around here - people like to create their own characters, at least I know for sure that I do, and so far, I believe everyone here is mature enough not to barge in with Jack McKillz who's secretly a robot policeman ninja and has a shotgun.

Also, more meat to chew on would be nice... For starters, how did that Oblivion Gate get there anyway? Or just what year is it, 400 years ago is not very specific... That also matters because if it's the Fourth Era or later, the plot makes no sense, because IIRC, Martin sealed all the Oblivion Gates forever.

And how can Martin stop the daedric invasion if it hasnt happend yet?

And how would we know that? We're never given the exact date when this Oblivion Gate appeared. THe OP merely states that it is '400 years ago', and for all we know, that could be 400 years ago from the end of the Fifth Syrian War or the invention of bread.

The dreadfull howling noise dies down and fades away as your vision clears, you are sttod in a field of blood red grass listening to the sounds of howling and other undescribable noises coming from the creatures around you. Behind you stands the broken and charred remains of the largest oblivion gate you have ever seen. the gate now lies closed and broken, smouldering in the aftermath of the attack that you helped to launch.A small patrol of about twelve or so stunted scamps spots you through the grass and makes their way towards you drawing, as they do so, small daggers and conjouring large bright fireballs from the air. you ready yourself and they are upon you, the fight is brutal and over very swiftly. a cloud of dust rises infront of you and a horrific face is pictured therein. gaining 4 daedra points from the strange particle based phantom you turn and try to see if any of the other adventurers are still alive. Catching a glimpse of steel you rush towards it only to find yet another dead dunmer leigonaire sprawled in the grass. Taking his food and potions you move on through the fields of blood. Your movement rustles the grass around you and this attracts the attention of some nearby spine wolves, whose spike covered paws rip the grass to peices as they bound towards you, again you draw your weapons but this time the fight is not so easy, the first of the three wolves launches at you with slavering teeth and its leap is powerfull and well aimed.

Kyar tumbled to the side in a futile atempt to dodge the demon. Its speed overcame him, and the Khajiit was pinned to the ground with the wolf standing ontop of him. Luckaly, the creature was not so smart, and a quick stab at its stomach dropped it limp. There was no time to roll the wolf of before its kin came, so the only option was to fight with the body on top of him. Unless... :lightbulb: The second daedra was almost upon him. Instict told Kyar the only thing to do was to kick the beast at its brother, where it tripped the attacker and gave a few more seconds for Kyar to stand up. Avid fingers drew an arrow from the quiveler around his waist and set it fly to the enemy.

ooc: so, sir adam my lord will you be joining our journey?

ic: a spray of daedra blood from your death blow coats your armour and you gain another 4 daedra points"your fingernails begin to burn as if something is trying to break through the flesh". you continue through the fields of blood grass and make your way towards the tower that looms over you. There are several more scaps and one clamfear outside the gates to the tower, you decide that the gate is probably locked or that there will be something even bigger guarding it, so you head round the back to try and get in through a small crawl space you saw earlier.

Kyar steps up to the great tower; Maybe there could be some help inside, if only I could get through this hole.
He bends down to look into the darkness. It is impossible to tell how far it will go, weather it will be twenty feet, or fifty, or two.
Is there another way? he thinks. I might be able to climb it. But the sides of the tower are much too smooth, and there is nothing to reach or even start an ascent.
Well, I've had worse... and he throws in his small sword just in case and clambers into the hole. S'rendarr...

OOC: Sorry about that weird tense change, but this'll feel more natural. :)

Uther ducked under a boulder, and scanned the area for his companions. Seeing Kyar ahead of him, he rushed past the corpses strewn about and crawled into the hole after him. Kyar, being faster, outpaced him, and Uther was left in the small dark space alone, crawling blindly ahead. Behind him he could have sworn he claws scarbbling on the ground...

ooc: hi blade welcome to my rp

ic: kyar crawls ahead and so is not aware of the strange sounds uther however gains 4 daedra points as strange claws scrable at him. eventualy they both reach the inside of the tower and are met by the sight of several scamps feeding on a dunmer leigon member. they stop the feast and begin to charge. as they do a bell goes off somewhere else in the tower and several dremorra churls enter drawing various weapons and advancing.

OOC: current daedra points for Kyar: 21

IC: Kyar grabs his shelth's his sword and pulls out his bow along with an arrow. He knothches it and shoots it at a charging scamp. Unforunatly, it produces a fireball to match and incinerates the arrow mid-flight. The khajiit lets the bow hang around his back. He yanks out is sword again and throws himself at his enemy, proforming an upper-cut to bring down the monster quickly. If the attack fails, the other daedra may overpower him in seconds.

OOC 17 dp for uther IC the blow was well aimed and powerfull taking the beast down easily. however the dremora group together and kyar is nearly overwhelmed, as he continues to fight he calls for uthers aid

uther runs in and draws his weapon(s) to join the fray. the bell sounds again and all the dremora simply turn and bow in the direction of the sound allowing tyou to quickly dispatch some more. Once the fight is over you decide that the easiest way to re open the gate would be to replace the sigil stone and so you proceed up the stairs to the rending halls. On the stairs there lies a dunmer "steelhead"(knight) who is badly injured, you pach him up and he joins you even if only for a short time. He also tells you that he has already tried to replace the stone but it is missing and when he tried to leave he and his friends were attacked and most of them were draged away to be sacrificed to the daedra prince of disease that owns this realm. He however escaped only injured and he also has a sigil stone from an old gate near cheydinhal that may help open the gate!

Uther swung Weaver down powerfully onto the dremora's skull, cracking it deeply, then turned face and severed the second churl's head. As Kyar spoke to the steelhead, Uther covered him, using lightning and blade to dispatch his foes.

"We're gonna be overwhelmed, we have to find better ground!!"

IC: Aryon watched in silence at the small battle raging all around him and assessed the situation. However suddenly a scamp jumped at him from behind but Aryon was ready and immediatly spun around shooting lightning at it and sending the scamp hurtling into a nearby rock and killing it instantly. He tooked his right hand into his robes and held his hand over his dagger, ready for whatever was coming next.
" What are we waiting for?" he spoke in a serious voice to the group

ooc: welcome to the rp, nice character design (mmm, magic!)

ic: the group decides that the steelheads plan is a good one and so they make their way into the rending halls with kyar leading the way. Aryon looks at his newfound friends and notices that they have strange pulsuating red scars on their arms and legs, also the kajhit has strange twisted claws rather than the usual catlike ones. The bell rings again, accompanied by the screams of a dying man " they sacrifice one of my friends along with each bell toll to their twisted prince" the steelhead tells them. you continue and run into the body of a spine wolf, the repugnant smell sickens aryon causing four daedra points and an odd itching on his arms and legs!

ooc : can anyone guess what the daedra points do yet?
