Daedra Option in Conjuration Memories Spell - LAME

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 5:52 pm

I installed the LAME and SM mods and just started a new game. I am playing a custom class with Destruction, Conjuration and Restoration as primary skills.

When I cast Restoration Memories or Destruction Memories, I get to select a spell to add to my spell book.

When I cast Conjuration Memories and select Daedra, nothing happens. Do I need to wait until my conjuration skill is high enough to summon daedra before casting this, or is something not working properly?

If I understand correctly, the "Memories" spells are supposed to be cast when you start the game to give you new starting spells.

Yeah it should function straight out of the sewers, like the rest. IIrc Daedric Summoning should give you Scamp and a bound something.

Are you loading SM before LAME? If so, make sure you are not running SM Conjuration Override, that's only used if you load SM after LAME and want SM's conjuration.

Otherwise, no idea what the conflict would be.

yes, this is exactly the problem I think - thanks so much for the fast reply!

I wanted the conjuration spells from SM to be available, so I'm using the override.

mystery solved! I will use the Memories spells for Restoration and Destruction, but stick with the SM starting conjuration spells.
